Had a fantastic 3 night stay at Coho Campground. Fishing from shore, I caught a 7 pound, 32” Steelhead that provided a thrill while playing it on light tackle.

Coho was the beat campground we have ever been to. We stayed two nights but wish we would have stayed longer. The forest is so lush, and the lake is beautiful. Our campsite was central but we felt like we were the only people in the forest. It was clean, but felt remote at the same time. This would be a great place to bring kids who like to explore. Also- prepare for rain!

The walk in campground was kept clean, and the restroom was clean (but it smelled like a wet dog) and the staff in the little carts was helpful, bringing us ice and asking if we needed anything. The day use area is huge! This is a great park.
I would have done 5 stars but there was something stinky in the bushes past our picnic table we would get a whiff of every now and then.
My only recommendation for improvement would be to put a piece of weather strip on the restroom doors so they don't slam every time.

Our camp at Coho campground was amazing. We had a view of lake Wynoochee and the hiking trails steps away from our tent. The whole area was well maintained and clean. We saw lots of salmonberry at the sites, and walkable distance to the docking area where you could swim. We had a great time there!
