Lovely campground, however the host was not doing a good job of maintaining the restrooms.

We arrived on Monday afternoon and departed on Thursday afternoon. During this time we saw our camp host(s) twice. Once when they checked the garbage late (after dark) on our first night, and again on Thursday when they checked the restroom. The first time they were playing loud music and appeared intoxicated. The second time they put TP in the restroom and left. They were always absent. Told by other campers they do a lot of kayaking. They never spoke to us or our neighbor in the next site the 3 1/2 days we were there. Very few amenities at this park and currently no present camp host to ask/answer questions or take care of issues.

The campsites were nice. Clean, pretty quiet, and will maintained. Valut toiles were clean.
A few items to consider.
1) There is not much to do at this campground. No real river access. No hiking trails from the campground.
2) The camp hosts were pretty sketchy ad gave off a negative vibe. They also had very loud dogs that barked whenever anyone passed the camp host campsite on the road. They did nothing to discourage this behavior.
3) The water from one of the two campground hand pumps has a rust color tint. The other was just fine.
We had a nice 3-day weekend there but would not go back.

Very busy campsite in summer months, campsites tend to get overcrowded. Very beautiful area otherwise.

Great overall experience. Always enjoy this campground. The one drawback this time was that there was no firewood for sale.
