Iron Creek has a nice river by it and a lot of sites along 4 loops. It’s great for its proximity to St. Helens or Rainier.

It was a delightful 3 night stay. What was unusual in both a negative and positive way was the lack of people in the campground. It was absolutely quiet, almost like we were the only people there; yet, Iron Creek is so special that it should be full every week. A big problem this year is that on the main road to the campground a bridge is being replaced and we have to use an alternate route which was not announced and we had to figure it out. And that road has some challenges. But for those of us who made the effort, the campground was wonderful.

It was impossible to get to iron creek campground because of the closure on our way from Randle to the campground. We even tried to go the other way round through glenoma via Riffe Lake but there was also no proper road.
We did not get an Information about this condition and so we had no chance in using our our reservation. We even needed to find another campsite at 9pm.

Being along the Cispus River was wonderful! Small campsite with barely enough room for two tents but it was still a great time. A perfect campsite if you’re planning a trip to Mount St. Helens!

Clean, gorgeous, will return. 4 nights in 4 connecting sites for our reunion. All ages had fun and agreed to make it a regular camping spot. Birdsong, shady sites, water play, and beautiful trail loop to hike. We were so impressed with the low amount of bugs/mosquitos. Thank you to the camp hosts!

Bridge was out on the main road and could not get to campground. Tried another road and there was a locked gate. I would have tried a few other ways, but there is no cell phone coverage for maps. Did not know I would need a forest service paper map ahead of time, but it is a good idea.

Our site was perfect, close to the pit toilet which was the nicest one I think I’ve seen. The camp hosts were on top of taking care of it. We had a great time and plan to book here again when we come back to the area.

It was very beautiful but we had to take a detour to the campground which added an extra 1 hour drive time. It was definitely worth it bathrooms were clean and the most beautiful environment.
