One of Washington’s most beautiful campground. If you have a large RV over 30 feet I would use caution getting in and out of the park. This campground also has no sewer dump. There are not many dumps nearby so that something to be aware of. Also the roads getting to this campground are extremely rough so be prepared.

We love this park and have been coming here for about 20 years. Park is clean and camp host friendly. But beware of the road coming to the park. It has many big potholes that are hard to see in the shadows of the trees.

Iron Creek Campground is one of our favorites. Sites are large with wooded areas between to give feeling of privacy. Trails around the campground and to the river are convenient for walks in the woods. The restrooms are some of the best of any campground. Large and very clean. We will be back soon!

The campground is situated among the beautiful Old Growth Douglas Firs and Cedar Trees. Beautiful hiking trail from campground to Iron Creek. Campground is on the way to Mount St. Helens Volcanic Monument. A must see. Mount Rainier is a day trip away also. Great place to visit.

We stayed at Iron Creek Campground in August of 2019. Love this old growth forest campsite for the higher elevation and shade that made camping without hookups in August quite comfortable. Expect bugs to chase you in at night but also the hooting of owls and darkness that allows you to see the Milky Way through the tall canopy of trees. This site provides a good central point to visit both Mt Rainier National Park and Mt St. Helen's National Monument with the added bonus of views of Mt Adams. The camp sites were well spaced and the hosts were welcoming and friendly. Be aware there is no cell service until you get closer to Randle.

It was our first time visiting this campground, and we totally enjoyed our stay. The amenities were as listed on the website, which we appreciated. The camp host was kind, helpful, and friendly. The setting was very good for us and our 2 groups of friends, since we were all using tents, and the sites seemed well suited for tent camping. The trail that goes around all 4 of the camping loops was especially scenic and accessible.
