The spot Itself was wonderful, most of our neighbors were nice, respectful, and quiet. The neighbors to our right were the only ones being disrespectful and loud. When asked to quiet down after quiet hours they continued to yell and play loud music. They also used inappropriately language for children. The bathrooms were clean. There were trash cans available. The river was about a mile hike. The hike and river were beautiful. We were only there one night but we are planning on coming back in 2021.

Beautiful campground. Very disappointed that there isn’t more open sites for first come first serve. There were many more last year.

Great campground. Large private sites. Nearby hiking and great base camp for exploring Mt Saint Helens view points and hikes.

Camp site was beautiful- surrounded by old growth and the perfect spacing between sites. However, the best feature of this experience was our host, Kathy. When we arrived after a 3 hour drive, we realized that I had inadvertently reserved for the previous night! The sign coming into the campground clearly showed "Full", but when we went back and told Kathy of our predicament and whether there were any cancellations, she took the time to go in and check. Lo and behold, someone had transferred sites, and there was one site open for that night! Lesson learned on my end and also clear to me that while the locations are amazing, it's the people who maintain these facilities who are the frosting on the cake!
