Beutiful undeveloped forest surroundings.Sites are very private with good separation from neighbors.Friendly, helpful host and the cleanest campground bathrooms I've ever seen. The gigantic Firs, moss covered Maples and lush ferns are my favorite part.We plan on going 2 or 3 times a year.

Had a nice sized site that backed up to the forest. Easily accommodated two tents. Super nice camp host too. The river next to the campground is pleasant place to hang out. The campground is a good place to take the drive to Mt St Helens view point. I would note that a few of the sites are super small and best suited for a camper.

Overall very good trip, except for thunderstorms. Nice campground. Helpful camp host. Beautiful old growth forest. Bring extra tarps and rain gear, even in August!

I have camped at this location for many years. The reasons I come back are, large spaces with plenty of trees in between. The Cispus River trail is beautuful. The camping hosts are always helpful. The restrooms are clean. And best of all you are about 35 minutes away from the road into awesome Mt St Helens.

The campground is situated among the beautiful Old Growth Douglas Firs and Cedar Trees. Beautiful hiking trail from campground to Iron Creek. Campground is on the way to Mount St. Helens Volcanic Monument. A must see. Mount Rainier is a day trip away also. Great place to visit.

Iron Creek Campground is one of our favorites. Sites are large with wooded areas between to give feeling of privacy. Trails around the campground and to the river are convenient for walks in the woods. The restrooms are some of the best of any campground. Large and very clean. We will be back soon!

We love this park and have been coming here for about 20 years. Park is clean and camp host friendly. But beware of the road coming to the park. It has many big potholes that are hard to see in the shadows of the trees.
