I tried to cancel my 1 night reservation but after waiting on hold for 35+minutes I hung up. Unacceptable customer service! No wonder so many sites are unoccupied .. Unable to cancel reservation!

Loved this ground.
The only cons were that the mosquitoes Were fierce and pit toilets.
Otherwise beautiful, quiet, and secluded!

We love this campground on the flanks of Mt. St. Helen's. Beautiful camping in the lush cool old growth forest. Right in the Cispus River and plenty of areas to explore. Don't miss Layser cave not to far away and of course Windy Ridge and all the that the National Volcanic Monument has to offer.

We LOVED the beauty of the old growth forest here-- HUGE quiet trees, moss, and a lovely trail to a gorgeous jade green river rushing over rocks in a deep green forested valley, water ouzels, and peaceful privacy. A great campground! Vault toilets, which probably accounts for some of the privacy and lack of crowds. :)

Really excellent campground and campsite! The bathrooms were some of the cleanest we had ever seen. Our campsite was a single, but still plenty big to pitch two tents. Going down to the river was a great experience as well- refreshing and beautiful.

Lots of trees separating each campsite, super clean bathrooms, loop c is closest to the river. No showers (which it says) but easy access to water pumps. The hike to Angel Falls nearby is beautiful.

- Firewood is available for ale at host site for $10.00/bundle.
