Our site was very small, but big enough for our tent and a couple of chairs, plus the picnic table and our car. We couldn't see the river, but could hear it quite well. There was no road noise, and our site was very quiet and peaceful. It was a rustic but beautiful place.

We love this campground! We stayed at site 80D, which was a great location. The forest and the river are beautiful, and the campground itself was clean and pleasant.

Tried canceling early enough due to heat wave as the trrms said I could get a partial refund but there was nowhere online to cancel for this campground and no phone number associated with this campground so we lost ALL of our money. Boo

Wow! Spacious campgrounds and decent privacy. Clean vault toilets. We went July 20-23 and didn’t have any issues with mosquitos.

really big campsite surrounded by trees. seemed same size as the "double" across the way. you could fit multiple tents on this one. more space than usual between sites (but still had some loud neighbors unfortunately) very pretty campground with tall tall trees and a nice river trail. you could hear the river from this site, but didn't have direct access like the two across from us did. a quick walk over to the river trail. about one hour drive to windy ridge view point and 45ish minutes to Norway Pass TH.

great for families. what we liked about this campsite:
access to Mount St Helens Windy Ridge, Ape Caves, Lazer Caves, and various water falls. all within half hour to hour forty-five minute drive.
Biking on the camp loops for our 9 and 6 year old is very easy.
Bathrooms are clean and well stocked.
Access to the river and via C or D loop.
Campgrounds are located in a forested area, somewhat of a classic Northwest camping experience on the west side.

Awesome campground—scenic and not busy! The only challenge is the extremely rough road in for about the last 8 miles (from where the county road turns into a FS road). We brought in a camper and had to take it very slow. Also, firewood was a rip-off at $8/bundle. Still, we love it and will be back.

Large paved private sites. Lush vegetation and trails along the river. Birds singing in the morning. Nice quiet campground.
FR 25 is in need of major repairs. Drive slow.
