Very beautiful place and a great adventure. Got to explore a lot of trails and enjoyed all the beauty the forest had. My husband and I will go come back one day.

Terrible spot. A little too open for others to view into it. On a corner. So everyone drives by and looks in.
Bathrooms were in good shape. River is enough to the to hear it. Roads were clean. Campsite was clean. Had decent enough weather.
Do not drink the water btw. I don’t care if you boil it. It has a lot of sediment in it. Looked in the bottom of the camp wash jug the next day. Pretty brown.
Closest service is down the road back towards Randle. There’s a clear cut area that’s where you can get service.

We reserved a multi site that supposedly could hold up to 12 people. There were just 8 of us and when we arrived it was a difficult puzzle to squish our 3 tents at the site, though there were two picnic tables. Fortunately, there were several FF open sites and we were able to exchange for a bigger one so all turned out well. For a large campground, there is remarkable privacy amid tall trees and dense foliage which separates most of the sites. As an individual who generally camps via backpacking, I was pleasantly surprised by this car camping experience.

We love Iron Creek campground. Been there many times over the past 30 years. It is always clean, sites are large with some underbrush for privacy. The large trees are stunning! We brought our grandkids here 20 years ago. They still talk about those trips to Iron Creek. Keep up the great job maintaining Iron Creek campground. We will see you next year.

Nice campground that well kept and clean. I used this campground to stage out of for hikes near Mt St Helens (it's ~35 minutes from the Windy Ridge Observation Point). Nearest town is Randall, WA that has very limited stores, so suggest you are well stocked before heading out for camping.

There are many trails, creeks, rivers nearby this campsite. Don't reserve the ones near the road because it's a little noisy. It's hard to reserve but if you can, reserve the ones near the Cispus River maybe more interesting.
