Great dry camping location. Sites are well-maintained with a good amount of privacy in loops A and B. Loops C and D are closer to the river access, but not great for trailers longer than 17’ in our opinion. The loop trail around the campground is fun and easy, less than 2 miles long and pretty easy going for most mobile people.

Great setting. Only problem there was no table at our campsite. All other campsites had one.

This is a nice park. Spaces are large enough to keep you in the woods. Nice trails. Roads to the park either way are the worst since Alaska, beware. The is no, that reads NONE, dump or sewer. Water is available but only to fill jugs, not a RV camper. There is garbage. Some old growth forest. Rapid flowing creek is part of the trails. Close enough to Mt St Helens. Nothing fancy, just camping.

Clean, quiet campground. Spacious, green, well maintained. Trails near campground. Windy ridge and iron creek falls were all great. Hosts were friendly. No cell but that the point. Road to campground paved but quite rough.

We had such a great time camping! Spots are pretty private and vault toilets were pretty well taken care of in loop D. The older style toilets in loop A were a little less pleasant. The campground loop trail is pretty cool with lots of little fairy surprises for the kids along the beautiful Cispus River. We will 100% go back!

The campground is lovely, with huge trees and lots of privacy between campsites. It was well maintained and the vault toilets were not smelly. The loop trail around the outside of the campground is easy and enjoyable. A side trip to Windy Ridge is worthwhile for viewing the Mt. St. Helens area, as well as the quick stop along the way at pretty Iron Creek Falls (not far from campground). The Meta Lake trail on the road to/from Windy Ridge is probably good too, but we turned around mistaking a tiny pond for the lake. Day trips to areas within Mt. Rainier National Park are possible, which we did on one day - to see Box Canyon, as well as hike the loop trail to Silver Falls from the Ohanapecosh campground.
