Goodell Creek Campground is a beautiful and well-maintained site located near the Skagit River, offering spacious campsites among large trees and easy access to water activities like rafting and fishing. Visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the vault toilets and the peaceful atmosphere, enhanced by the surrounding natural beauty. While some sites are close to the highway, creating occasional noise, most guests enjoy the serene environment and the convenience of nearby hiking and visitor center amenities.

Beautiful old growth forest with easy access to the creek. It was very quiet and relaxing. Potable Water nearby each campsite. Mosquitos and bugs in large supply this time of year. We tried to utilize the boat ramp to the creek however the ramp area was being monopolized by a commercial outfit of river rafters. Commercial activity within the national and state parks should not be allowed to the exclusion of use by private citizens!

Best camping experience. We were in spot #7 and had access to the river. It was lovely.

My boyfriend and I loved camping here. The site (#13) was clean, cozy and felt very private. Close to the river so you could hear the water as you fell asleep. We’ll absolutely be back!

We stayed at site #12. It was far enough away from the river to be safe, but you could hear the water. There was a nice trail down to a sandy beach where we enjoyed the evening. Overall the campground was nice and sites were spaced out enough to be comfortable.

Wonderful campground and riverside campsite! Great trail from Goodell over to Newhalem and Newhalem Campground which had additional trails and the NPS visitor center.
