The camp hosts were awesome! They were very dillegent on making sure camp fires were not left unattended and were genuinely kind folks. The falls were amazing.

Very spacious. Site 21 could easily fit at least 3 tents and 2 cars. It is close to the restrooms and had a full firepit/grill set up and 2 tables. Would stay here again.

Lovely, secluded campground with a great hike next to the river from the lower falls to the middle and upper falls. Only downside is the road in and out is extremely rough and full of potholes. Beware!

We stayed in site 7 of the lower loop. The lower loop is way better than the upper loop. Its a very short distance to lower falls and the trail head. The lower loop has two vault toilets, site 7 is close to it which has pros and cons. We absolutely love this campground. No cell service, no water on site, about 30 minutes from the nearest amenities at Eagle Cliff Store/Campground - the store is small, seasonal, and has camping essentials stocked. It has ice and ice cream as well. The camp hosts this year were amazing, kept the vault toilets very clean. Two concerns about this site is that this year: 1. So many people park at the day use area and up the road where they are not supposed to, no regulation on this and so the lower falls are flooded with people swimming and being rowdy. 2. The road coming in, literally the last 5-10 minutes of the drive, is extremely washed out, rough, bumpy, with huge dips. We got several emails from Rec.gov warning us ahead of time and gave us the opportunity for a refund, which is nice. We normally tow a pop-up camper on my Rav 4 but if we had taken it this year the tow hitch would have bottomed out. I highly recommend 4 wheel drive and a vehicle that is a little more lifted than the average commuter.

Amazing camping spot! The scenery is beautiful, it’s peaceful, and we had a great time. The road wasn’t nearly as bad as many reviews make it sound—we had no trouble getting there.
Be aware that there is absolutely no cell service, so it’s best to plan ahead.
My only suggestion would be to add sinks and running water at the restrooms. Other than that, this place is absolutely stunning, and we’d definitely come back!

Beautiful campground with clean outhouses. Unfortunately we camped next to a group of young adults that didnt know how to be respectful to their neighbors after quite time. With no park host in the park to enforce the rules our hands were tied with situation. We were unable to sleep and left with a few other campers the next morning. I probably will not be back.

From Portland or Seattle take I-5 to exit 21 for WA-503 E toward Woodland/Cougar. WA-503 will turn into FR 90, turn right at the Pine Creek Visitor Center. Lower Falls Campground will be on your right hand side after you pass mile marker 28 on FR 90.
Lower Falls Campground is accessible via I-5, taking exit 21 for WA-503 E. WA-503 transitions to FR 90 near the Pine Creek Visitor Center, leading directly to the campground.

- Bring your reservation confirmation to the campground.
- The campground opens in mid-May.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Vehicles & parking
- The road to the campground is rough; high clearance or 4WD vehicles are recommended.
Utilities
- No hookups are available at the campground.
- Electricity is not available, and cell phone reception is poor.
Fees & deposits
- The camping fee covers one vehicle and one towed vehicle; additional vehicles incur an $8.00/night fee.
Cancellation policy
- Failure to arrive by the next day incurs a $20 fee and forfeits the first night's fee.
Fires & fuel
- To protect forests, do not move firewood; obtain it near the campground.
