Jubilee Lake Campground (OR)

Had a deer come into camp and get a few feet away from us. She even bedded down in our camp and hung out with us all day. Grandkids loved swimming and going out on the boat to fish.

I'm reluctant to say too many nice things because I don't want the location overrun next summer. Be prepared for 6 miles of dusty gravel road, no electricity/water at sites, and a limited number of "no reservation" sites. Clean pit toilets within reasonable walking distance of most sites, spigots with fresh spring water within reasonable distance around the campground, and a post card perfect mountain lake with tasty little trout (If you are not from Oregon, be prepared to shell out some money for a non-resident license before you come to the lake). If you enjoy some off-grid camping with a few amenities, Jubilee Lake is the place to go.

Campsite 4 is a pull through. From the car parking area to the campsite itself it is very angled. Campsite has a flat area for small tents and tables. The flat area connects with campsite #5 and a windy path also connects to campsite #3. Towards the back of the campsite is a trail that runs through the lake. This campsite is more private compared to the ones at the end of the site. There is a water spigot right across the site and the closest bathroom is a vault. Flush toilets are about a 3 minute walk (close to #7).

Campsite 3 is a back in site. It is very angled to get to the campsite itself but is a big area for tents and tables. There is a few stumps around the site that get in the way or can be used to prop things up.

Directly across is the camp host, trash and water. The closest bathroom is at the entrance and is a vault. Flush toilets are about a 4 minute walk. This campsite has a trail towards the back.
