In September it is really nice at Jubilee Lake. We have camped here in the summer when the campground was full, and that is not as enjoyable to us. During our September visit we heard elk bugling every day, as it is elk mating season. The weather was pleasant and very few campers were present.

Wonderful time. Beautiful campground. Very clean. Sites are dispersed. Never felt like I was in someone's backyard. Definitely going back. Yes, there is approx 9 miles of gravel washboard road that you need to ignore to get there. Small price to pay.

Very dirty. Someone had used the trail as a bathroom. Dirty toilet paper...
The site was quiet and we enjoyed it. The road in is so washboardy it was absolutely terrible. Also, a tent camper was burning a fire which made us uneasy because of extreme fire danger.

Great place to camp. The one negative part was with a large group of people playing loud music. They would not turn it down when asked. There should be no music allowed. If people can not do without their music they should stay home. I go there for the quiet and to enjoy the natural environment without the noise of the city. Everyone has their own idea about what is reasonable sound. Better to just say no music. They left thankfully the second day or it would have been on the whole time they were there.

The 7 mile drive on the washboard was pretty bad.

No pottable water, you'll need to fill up at Tollgate. At least that's where we were told the nearest water was.

Nice sized campsite, we were in #30. Short drive to the boat launch with our inflatable boat. We will be back next year!

Campground is nice, and lake is amazing. Washboard road on the way in isn't wonderful, but worth it.
