R.D. is our favorite campground. The Rangers are very friendly and extremely helpful no matter what the need is (loaning forgotten tools such as rake, shovel, and other items). The host is the best around and does the same thing-even loaning his ladder and leaf blower. One time Ranger Donavan New saved my husband’s kayak when it was caught between sharp rocks in the river. We love this place!

This is our favorite place to camp. We love the beautiful campground, friendly hosts, and hard-working rangers. Everyone goes out of their way to help no matter if you need a tool (rake, shovel, leaf blower, etc. ). We look forward to going there next year.

Very clean, nice and peaceful, host helps a lot. Great fishing and kayaking. It’s my home away from home! I can’t wait to be back this spring!

This is primitive camping no electric or water. But peaceful and fishing good. Area kept clean and trash is picked up. Rangers are very nice and helpful.

The volunteer we saw was really friendly but we stayed a week and didn’t see anyone picking trash up or anything. When we arrived there was left over trash in our campsite including in the fire pit. We cleaned it before even setting up. Also might want to hire a dive team to come out or atleast put a sign half way out in the water at the sand bar due to 2 spots with sharp metal in the water I sliced 2 toes. Also y’all need to change the ad saying fishing area to boating if y’all aren’t going to clear out anywhere for people to reach on foot also the “fishing area” water was nothing but run off trash if your taking a boat out be careful.
