The area is beautiful. The facilities and amenities are nice. My daughter and I really enjoyed it. I love good food cooked over an open fire. I can’t wait until my next visit. ❤️😁

Worst year yet. Prices are horrendous for what amenities you get, or should I say DONT get. Reservation was pointless, as another camper was on our site upon arrival. The grass hasn’t been touched in who knows how long. Looked like hayfields. Fire pits were full of trash. Dumpster overflowing and trash bags scattered everywhere. Playground had same trash on the ground as the day we came 14 days prior. Bathhouses were not in great shape, the drains were backed up and the nasty water raised up my legs as I hurried to shower. Just terrible.

#68 is a very nice spot to camp and is close to the swimming hole but if u don’t like being close to the swimmers then it’s not a place for u
Would be very nice to have cell or WiFi at the campgrounds

It was a good stay we had to leave 2 days early and have been tryin to 2 weeks or so to get ahold of someone to see if we would get a refund for the 2 days we didn’t get to stay and no one has returned my calls or emails but other then that it was a good stay

There are so many different types of sites in this campground. The Locust Branch loop is better - sites are larger. #10 and 11 where we stayed had easy access to the river and were shaded. The only complaint is the bathhouse is not really kept cleaned. There is soap to wash your hands and paper to dry them which is a plus.
