This was our first stay at Bulltown. We are tent campers and stayed in A loop. Our stay was very good until we discovered that we were surrounded by bees. There was a huge bees nest next to our camp site. The park ranger sprayed it after the sun went down but that didn’t kill them. My granddaughter got her very first bee sting while we were there. Thank God we found out she isn’t allergic :)

Nice campground and well maintained… Our time there was a busy time and there were no issues such as loud noise, or music and quiet time was observed by all in our loop… There are issues with cell phone service using AT&T or should I say no service… We were offered to pay for the WiFi at the campground but the price was outrageous $6.99 per day or $87.00 for 14 days… Our plan was to visit the local Wal-Mart, not only for supplies but to use cell service to search the internet as needed… Our plan worked beautifully… We plan on returning and will use this campground again…

liked the hiking trails.
The roads into and from there were wicked, for a RV, but would have been a blast in a Miata.

Bulltown Camp Site is a beautiful place located in West Virginia forest, surrounded by lots of shade trees, a lake with camp sites right on the water. The campgrounds has a lot of history that is worth checking out. Play grounds for the kids. The campgrounds have sections that allow pets and other that no pets allowed. ninety percent on the camp sites are full hookups.😎

Great campground. Several loops and sites. Highway 19 is a much easier road to travel in the area to this campground compared to others on highway 15 that isn’t big rig friendly.

It's pet friendly but there were too many dogs. Campers all around us had 3 dogs per site and they barked at your every move. Next time I'll choose a pet free loop.
