Would have been 5 stars if we were not sandwiched in loop D with C and F loop CLOSED. The fun of camping during off seasons is being able to pick a great site that you can't normally get during Reservation season. Need to open the other loops. We are not the only ones upset about this. We also didn't see alot of regulars that camp. Wonder where they are camping now. We are going to consider somewhere else if you continue closing F and C so early

We've been to Bulltown 3 yrs. We meet other campers for a gathering. The Fall is so beautiful with colors along the lake. The campground is large but woodsy Our site ia only electric, though a water faucet was close by. The dumping & potable water area is very nice too. Camp host & other staff were helpful & knowledgeable. Historic area near by at times there are public events. Great WV COE campground

We love Bulltown, it was beautiful. We just wish they would keep all the loops open in the fall so there is enough sites available so we’re not taking a chance of getting turned away at the gate. Maybe even letting you book later in the season would help.

Camp ground was crowed because Corp closes 50% of camp sites after Labor Day. All campground should stay open longer.
Wi-Fi is expensive and constantly shuts down.
Cell phone service should be provided due to size of camp and volume of visitors. Camper has to leave and travel to make a phone call.
