Grass has not been mowed all year. It was knee high in most places and with the wet conditions, cause us and everything we owned to be wet all weekend.

There are also gigantic boulders lining the perimeter that are unsafe for vehicles and a tripping hazard for humans -- especially since they were hidden by the grass.

Absolutely the best camp site in all of the parks I have visited. Camp manager Mike was amazing and far more helpful than I could have ever asked for or expected. I cannot wait for the opportunity to visit Monongahela NP and stay at Gatewood again.
