Battle Run Campground is highly praised for its beautiful location near Summersville Lake, well-maintained facilities, and friendly atmosphere. Many visitors enjoy the clean bathhouses, spacious sites, and abundance of activities available, making it a great family-friendly destination. We tent camped at site D/96. Right beside the beautiful lake. We stayed for 3 nights. Had a wonderful and relaxing time. We will be back next year.

Overall it is a very nice, but crowded campground. The sites are VERY small. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The grass hadn’t been mowed and was much too long

During the week after kids went back to school very quiet, beautiful weather. Site we could pull our boat up to with ease. Bathhouses were clean. Could have had friendlier neighbors.....

This is a well run, and maintained campground. It is a very popular campground and I’m sure it requires a lot of people working together to keep it so nice. The volunteers and employees do a great job keeping things going smoothly for the numerous visitors.

This was our 2nd camping trip to Battle Run this summer. The check-in was smooth; the site was good; bath house was clean. The only complaint was people flying by on e-bikes.
