What Guests Are Saying
Gerald Freeman Campground is a beautiful and peaceful destination, well-loved for its family-friendly atmosphere, clean facilities, and scenic surroundings, including easy access to water for fishing and kayaking. Many campers appreciate the relaxed environment and friendly staff, making it a favorite spot for repeat visitors. However, there are some concerns about the maintenance of the grass and bathhouses, as well as the need for better Wi-Fi and more full hook-up sites.

I think if you would get some kind of musical entertainment to come into the large shelter would help bring in more campers. Need more to do other than boating & fishing. Very quiet, clean, nice campground.

Absolutely beautiful campground. No internet, no cell service. Completely unplugged for a long weekend and absolutely loved it!!!

Not the best experience I’ve had here. Bathhouses were never cleaned. Love the campground been coming for over 25 years but thinking of looking elsewhere.

Tight roads in and out, not big rig friendly. Hit top of entrance shack on the way in. Nice sites bathroom good but drainage for floors not good

Well the camp ground was as usual enjoyable. However for some REASON that no one seems to know, they have changed the site numbers, as a result the sites i have reserved for the rest of this year are not the ones i usually reserve. i reserve early in order to get specific sites for shade and bath house location, now i am on a site that has no shade and further from bath house for my next three outings!

Great place to camp! Wish there were more full hookups along the river. Clean bathhouses! Cell signal is patchy, though.
