What Guests Are Saying
Gerald Freeman Campground is a beautiful and peaceful destination, well-loved for its family-friendly atmosphere, clean facilities, and scenic surroundings, including easy access to water for fishing and kayaking. Many campers appreciate the relaxed environment and friendly staff, making it a favorite spot for repeat visitors. However, there are some concerns about the maintenance of the grass and bathhouses, as well as the need for better Wi-Fi and more full hook-up sites.

This RV site is now our favorite one. It is so lovely, well-kept and offers something for everyone. They have several sites along the water as well as a boat ramp if needed. Their are also several well-equipped playlots located around the large park that are way above average. Finally, we love the ease of making reservations online.

The campground was well kept. The lot sizes for tent camping was perfect – not sure about for campers. The camp itself is not far away from the lake which is a must see if you are going to really get away. PS, if you do go to the lake and want to swim in the designated beach area, well the sand (not like beach sand) can get extremely hot.

My husband and I camped in a tent along the river. We really had a peaceful and relaxing weekend. Next trip we plan on bringing the grandkids. They would love the playgrounds.

Very nice campground. Nice sites. Nice scenery. But the bathrooms need much attention. Hundreds of caterpillars.

My family’s time there was really good except for the long term campers that were there act like they own the place... yelling at kids for messing with the ducks when the ducks were not even within 50 yards of them... other than that it is a very good campground
