Right on the water. Please try The Landing restaurant just a short walk from park. There is also laundry- lakeside wash within walking distance. My only draw back to the park, the bike path runs thru it and it is widely used.

Both Ashland City campgrounds have gone to online reservations. Used to be first come first serve. Drove the rig 2 hours north to find no sites available. Sure would have been nice to know this information. Couldn't the city have sent emails or texts to previous campers to disclose the change.

There is nothing and I mean nothing bad about this place! Clean, well kept next to the bay with easy access to the beach! There are designated bathrooms just for the RV Campers which is cleaned every day. Beautiful, beautiful!
If you like to walk/jog or ride your bike this place has a very nice wide trail that takes you along the waterway - Ashland Waterfront Trail, an 11.5-mile paved, ADA-compliant, multi-modal path that stretches along Lake Superior's shoreline from Prentice Park to the eastern edge of the city.
I walked much of this path while here and loved it!!
Although you can come without a reservation because if there isn’t a spot for you they have an overflow parking - BUT - it’s better to make reservations online in advance to secure a good spot - but frankly all of them are pretty nice!

The location was amazing! Sites are right next to the lake and walking trail. Site was level and large. Bathrooms and showers were clean. No laundry facilities. There was NO wifi. Camp host said it was down.
