What Guests Are Saying
Franklin Lake is a beloved campground with spacious, well-maintained sites and beautiful surroundings, making it a favorite for many returning campers. Visitors appreciate the clean facilities, scenic hiking trails, and the tranquility of the lake, especially for families and young swimmers. Some concerns include the lack of showers and limited water access, but overall, the positive experiences and friendly hosts contribute to its charm.

Beautiful campground with large and scenic campsites.
We were able to reserve a premium site on the lake, and it was an awesome view.
Sites are large enough and spaced far enough apart that a generator can be run without disturbing your neighbors.

Beautiful clean lake, lots of shade from the forest, and pretty clean toilets for a campground. Nice cold water from the well pump which didn't taste the best but we brought a water filter which helped. Great for hiking, fishing, and swimming. No service for US cellular providers - one bar if you're lucky.

Very nice primitive site. Sites on the hill are not very private, but they are spaced far enough to create privacy. Sites along the lake are very beautiful.

This was a return to a place I camped at my youth. It holds many memories for me. The camps sites have been maintained excellent through all these years. The one glaring absence was any boats to rent and the boat dicking area having been grown over.

Our stay was great. The online reservation system could be more straight forward and easier to use.

Franklin Lake is beautiful camp ground. Not to far from shopping or places to go out to eat. I have camped at this location for over 60 years.

Always enjoy Franklin Lake campground. Been camping there since 2000 and have mostly good things to say about it. Big sites, nice clean lake and a great beach area.
