What Guests Are Saying
Laura Lake Campground is a beautiful and well-maintained site, featuring spacious campsites and a serene atmosphere. While the advertised bike and hiking trails were overgrown and not usable, the campground itself remains clean and picturesque, with friendly pit toilets and occasional 5G Wi-Fi access. Some maintenance issues, including road disrepair and noise from nearby campers, were noted, but overall, visitors appreciated the rustic charm and tranquility of the location.

The grounds, restrooms and campsite were well taken care of by the Campground Host... it was the same as last year which was our first camping experience at Laura and Gordon Lake. It is becoming our favorite place to go!

We love Laura Lake. The host was not as good as Carl and Sharon. He never stopped at our campsite to visit and the outhouses were not as clean as when Carl and Sharon are there.

Laura lake is a great camp ground .Been coming here for 35 years. We did have a issue with generators running very early 6:15am. And running all evening long. How can we sit around the campfire at night with all that noise, can't hear the Loons, the owls, the wolves anything. After a while the noise gives you a head ache . The canoe rides on the lake all you can hear are generators running. I always liked the no boat motor rule because it is peaceful & quiet. Generator rule would be so nice 10am to 5pm so everyone has a equal chance to enjoy there camping experience. My entire family enjoy camping & this location is a favorite!!! Talking to other campers here feel the same way, why do generators have to run all day & all night?

it is blissfully quiet at laura lake and i am grateful for that; i love being able to get water from the tap/well near the host campsite; the bathrooms are clean; two years ago, it was EXTREMELY disconcerting to arrive at laura lake planning to camp on the way home from a trip farther north and to find the gates shut despite the internet listing saying LL would be open past the date i was there for; not having internet, i had to drive home rather than try to find another spot; a guest this year said they also closed the gates early last year before the published and posted closing date; i camped earlier in the fall and had called ahead and was told LL would be open thru the posted date; LL's description tells about the bog at the back of the lake; it is a truly beautiful spot but the boardwalk to it is in huge disrepair and i don't know if it will bear weight; it needs replacement; i would suggest an open public shelter be made available at this park; i have never encountered disrespectful guests at this park; kudos;

Both the lakes are extremely beautiful and provide fun for swimming as well as fishing. The camping grounds were well kept and we felt safe the entire trip. To add on, the bathrooms were extremely clean and allowed for a comfortable experience.
