We had an excellent stay, the fishing was pretty good...caught and released several bass and northern. The campground host did an amazing job keeping the bathrooms clean. Overall a very nice vacation in the woods.

Overall we enjoy staying there very much, but the bathroom/shower area in the hardwood loop was not as clean as in the past. Also there was a lot of garbage along the ditches in all three loops

Heavily wooded, spacious sites and electric (we had 50amp). Very nice lake for fishing.

We had a pleasant stay here. Our Camp Host was very friendly and was willing to answer any questions we had.
The site was able to fit my truck and boat without feeling cramped. However, the site is located on the bend of the loop so backing up with a boat/trailer/RV can be a hassle. We were able to set up and the site still felt spacious to hangout. This is one of the very few sites that we saw that had a grass patch for a tent. We didn’t want to pitch a tent on bare gravel and dirt. Mosquitoes were consistent, but some citronella candles/torches and bug spray fixed it.
No firewood is sold within the campground, however it wasn’t hard to find it being sold along the roads leading into the campground. We saw prices ranging from $4-$6/bundle.
Showers/bathrooms/water pump were a very, very quick walk so that was awesome. They were cleaned daily by the Camp Host when we were there. Shower tokens were pretty straight forward. It was $1 for 1 token. 1 token was equivalent to 5 minutes of shower time.
Cell service wasn’t terrible. Spotty in certain areas, but I have Verizon and was able to get a good, consistent 2 bars. My girlfriend has AT&T and was able to get the same.
We fished the Lake for bass a few times during our stay, it was decent. One of the mornings, there was a 26 boat fishing tournament so there was a lot of boat traffic. Usually the boat traffic wasn’t too bad. All the launches surrounding the lake ranged from $2-$5 launch fees. The best one I would recommend is the one by the Long Shot Bar. A very, very nice ramp and only had a $2 launch fee.
Only real complaints would be,
The beach between the Beaver and Bass Loop was visibly overgrown and not taken care of. Luckily, the other beach by the Hardwoods loop was the complete opposite.
The ramp located within the campground was also sketchy and I didn’t want to risk launching my boat there.
Overall, I had a very nice experience here. I would definitely come back!

Amazing atmosphere, quiet, private campsites, showers, toilets, & running water. Breathtaking scenery. Come here yearly & it is always a blast. Definitely recommend.
Hardly any service depending on carrier. 15 ish minutes away from Gilman WI, which has a store, gas, firewood, ice, ect.
