What Guests Are Saying
Spearhead Point is a beloved campground known for its beautiful natural setting, spacious sites, and opportunities for kayaking and fishing directly from campsites. While the campground lacks hookups and flush toilets, it is well-maintained and offers a quiet atmosphere for nature enthusiasts. Some visitors noted issues with noise and staff availability, but overall, the positive experiences of enjoying the outdoors and the friendly environment overshadowed the negatives.

Spearhead Point is a beautiful campground. It is remote and can give a peaceful, serene wilderness experience during the week. Wildlife sightings are frequent. We enjoy the hiking trails, canoeing, kayaking and fishing on the Mondeaux Flowage. Fishing from the shore is a bit of a challenge as the flowage is shallow and weedy in areas. People do reserve sites for weeks at a time to get the one weekend they want, so don't be surprised when most of the reserve-able sites are reserved but only 3 or 4 are occupied during the week. Beware of the weekends though; on many occasions, groups show up and have loud drunken parties til 2 or 3 AM, bonfires, unruly, unsupervised children, loud music, fireworks and ski boats.
