I found this campsite through a YouTube video by PPPeter, and it absolutely lived up to the expectations. The place is incredible — the views are stunning, the location is perfect, and the whole atmosphere is just peaceful and beautiful.
The service was great too. Everyone was really friendly and welcoming. John, in particular, is super chill. He genuinely cares about keeping the area safe and making sure everyone follows the rules so the campsite stays enjoyable for all visitors.
I noticed there are negative reviews, but honestly, most of them seem to come from people who didn’t respect the rules in the first place. If you follow the guidelines (which are very reasonable), you’ll have an amazing experience here.
I definitely recommend this campsite. I’ll be back for sure! 🌲⛺️

I saw PPPeters honest review of Lake DuBay Shores and I have to say that it is a really nice place. The Lady at the reception and John are actually really nice people and I would. Camping, driving the boat and fishing there would be absolutly amazing. Such a lovely place and staff!

Beautiful setting! Traveling across US with my wife and stopped here only for 2 nights but the place is just gorgeous. We only met the mans and lady owners briefly but they were very helpful and kind.
Ignore the bad reviews, I believe they’re planted by competition or just fake.. they make no sense honestly
4/5 all in, would stay again if I was jn WC

Not as bad as some other review. John is friendly if you are nice to him.
The campsite is great, big and next to the lake with a lot of shaded areas. They should clean the WC/Shower more often (a lot of bugs).
If you have daily visitor, they should check in before entering the Campground.

We have been a seasonal camper there for 12 years. My wife went to the women’s restroom this morning and she said it was filthy. 2 toilets are plugged. Maybe it’s time to find another place. It’s like the owners don’t care how run down this place is. This could be such a beautiful campground but someone has to come in and run it like any body else has to run their business! Frustrating
