What Guests Are Saying
Grant River Campground offers spacious, well-maintained sites with stunning views of the Mississippi River and beautiful sunsets. Visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities and the friendly atmosphere, as well as the proximity to charming towns like Potosi. However, the frequent train traffic nearby can be disruptive for some campers, especially at night.

Beautiful place to picnic with a view of the Mississippi River. We used the shelter for a family reunion. The only drawback to this location is we can't reserve until May. We have the same date every year when we have our reunion and would like to be able to renew that reservation right away for the next year.

Only negative was the amount of train traffic next to the park. Very level sites and there appears to be improvements to the park.

My husband and I have been camping here for 10 years. Before I meet my husband he had been going to grant river for over 40 years!! Sandy in the check in shack is the sweetest lady & her husband Frank is so nice. Didn’t really care for the lady that is the host...

This is my first experience staying in a COE RV park. The location can't be beat. It is right on the Mississippi River. We watched the sunset over the river. The park is very well maintained. The shower rooms were very clean. Train noise did not bother us. Park host came to the office at 5:00 to handle our payment and set me up with a Recreation.gov account. She was very helpful and pleasant. Can't beat the price with the National Park Senior Pass.

This is a beautiful park. Know that water is available, but not at the campsite. The trees drop huge acorns. We almost ran outside with arms up and a white flag for surrender the first time our motorhome was acorn “bombed.” 😂😂😂
Lots of trails, trees, beauty.

As typical for COE parks, sites were well spaced, clean and trimmed. We enjoyed our time there with our travel trailer
