What Guests Are Saying
Grant River Campground offers spacious, well-maintained sites with stunning views of the Mississippi River and beautiful sunsets. Visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities and the friendly atmosphere, as well as the proximity to charming towns like Potosi. However, the frequent train traffic nearby can be disruptive for some campers, especially at night.

We would love to give this campground an excellent rating but......
We were absolutely driven crazy by the constant train traffic and the noise and rumble created by the fast moving freight cars VERY close the campground. Sleeping was affected as well.
The grounds were lovely and the sites were nicely set up.

Pretty sites of the the river, clean shower & bathrooms, plenty of room between sites.. The BIG negative is the high speed fully loaded freight trains right next to the campground. We stuck it out 3 nights but was glad to leave.

All very pretty campsite. The only drawback was the numerous running of the trains near the campground.

This is such a great place to camp. It's clean, and sites are spacious. Everyone that camps here is so friendly. The camp hosts are very nice. We come here a lot.

We love this campground. Facilities are kept clean. The support staff are friendly and courteous and it is patrolled daily by the park rangers. And of course the view is absolutely gorgeous.

Itβs always clean and the staff are great to work with. We are scheduled to camp there 5 days a month through October this year.

Great place to camp. Clean and well kept. A bit close to the railroad which runs all day and most of the night, so don't expect complete quietness.

This is our favorite campground and Sandy is always so helpful and gracious when we check in. Couldn't have a better person for registration. The campground is also very quite.
