What Guests Are Saying
Grant River Campground offers spacious, well-maintained sites with stunning views of the Mississippi River and beautiful sunsets. Visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities and the friendly atmosphere, as well as the proximity to charming towns like Potosi. However, the frequent train traffic nearby can be disruptive for some campers, especially at night.

This campsite was as clean and neat as any we have ever camped in. Two things you should be aware of is one camp site pads for the large part are fairly short and two it is next to the train tracks so you do hair trends.
We really enjoyed watching the river barges and I am traveling around the driftless area it is really a beautiful part of our country. We would camp here again if it’s in our travels.

Very scenic area right on the river. People were friendly and it was a clean campground. There are trains the go by day/night so there is that factor that may bother some people.

This campground seems to be used a lot by people from surrounding area. Most are extremely nice. Lots of trains going both ways & do not slow down. Love Potosi which is very close. Brewery with tours & Great food. Gift shop. We even drove up to Wyalusing to see leaves.Camp attendant keeps park clean. Gal in booth was pretty snippy both times I talked to her. But regulars she'd chat with nicely. Others said the same about her. If we go back would be for only 2 nights top. Mainly to see Potosi again.

Railroad tracks are loud. The day we got ready to leave we couldn't dump our tanks because the dump station was full. Someone was coming to pump it that day

Grounds were clean, quiet ( even if there were trains), and the Ranger was very helpful. We will be coming back.

Very nice sites. With America The Beautiful park pass the price was very reasonable. This park puts Wisconsin State Parks to shame.

Beautiful campground and well maintained! The train is loud but does add charm.

The one and only issue I had was with the trains blowing their horns at all hours of the night as they passed the campgrounds.
