What Guests Are Saying
Grant River Campground offers spacious, well-maintained sites with stunning views of the Mississippi River and beautiful sunsets. Visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities and the friendly atmosphere, as well as the proximity to charming towns like Potosi. However, the frequent train traffic nearby can be disruptive for some campers, especially at night.

Great spot next to the Mississippi river. We brought 4 young kids and made trips to potosi brewery and the national river museum in dubuque. We had fun fishing and utilized the playgrounds. Not much shade, camp sites very close, and the train is pretty loud. We would come back, but not planning this to be a regular spot for us.

Way too much train noise. It hardly stopped over 4 days. Campground host never there till after 5:30pm.

Very well-maintained with the beautiful view. Can’t beat beautiful view of the Mississippi! Enjoyed it thoroughly, only negative, there are trains that run along side of the Campground quite often so, it can be a little bit of a drawback. Even at night. But the view is worth the noise the train crates. Would recommend it unless you are a very light sleeper.

Weather had a effect on our 4 day stay. First day was extremely windy and another was similar. Had a great meal and a tour of the brewery

Wonderful view and location. No TV stations. Rained when we were there so would have been nice to know before we stayed but was still great to see the river barges.
