Eau Galle is a beautiful park. The facilities are very good. The terrain is very hilly and forested. it's great for hiking.

Nice wooded area. Site was smaller than advertised. Enjoyed the ranger and my Granddaughter liked making a bird feeder.

We love camping at Highland Ridge because when you enter the camping area it feels like you are entering into a fairy tale place. The canopy of trees always keeps the temps down when it's hot and shelters you when it's raining. This year was different because of some clearing which was done. This was quite a shock at first but while we were sitting having our early morning coffee we saw animals which we would have never seen with the thick forest. I think that area might be our new favorite.

Numbering system for the camp sites is totally not logical.
On the website rec. gov it is not clear that the equestrian sites armed not connected to the main campground.
The host was very friendly and helpful.

Campsites were nice and campground was really clean. Perfect place if you want piece and quiet. Nothing really for kids to do. Can't take dogs on the hiking trails because horses were on them as well. So I was very disappointed that we couldn't do any hikes. Need to keep horses off hiking trails
