What Guests Are Saying

South Fork Campground is highly praised for its clean facilities, attentive camp host, and beautiful location near the creek, making it ideal for exploring the Bighorn Mountains. Many visitors enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, well-maintained trails, and the relaxing sound of the nearby stream. With the exception of the weather, our stay at South Fork campground was excellent. The facilities were well maintained and very clean. The campsites were far enough apart to make the stay feel more comfortable. I would recommend this campground as one that I would return to often.

Beautiful location next to a creek and plenty of hiking trails. The tent-only campground is not accessible by vehicle, so bring a wagon to haul your gear across the small bridge from the parking lot.

This was an amazing find thanks to the Moon Campground books. So secluded. Rocks on one side and a creek across from us. We were just passing through and it was perfect for a short evening hike and then a short morning walk by the water. We couldn't believe the value. Yes, pit toilets, but worth it for the amazing view. 6 people, 2 kids, 4 adults.
