Tie Hack Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained environment with clean facilities and friendly camp hosts, making it a favorite spot for many visitors. The campground features spacious sites, a great location near the Tie Hack Reservoir, and well-maintained vault toilets. However, some guests experienced early morning noise from tree thinning activities and reported occasional issues with road traffic and wildlife management. Overall, the positives of cleanliness, helpful staff, and scenic beauty outweigh the negatives.

I love Tiehack Campground but people need to follow the mountain manners. 4 wheeler's and dogs not on leashes.

Nice well spaced campground located about a half mile from the cloud peak scenic byway and about 20 minutes from Buffalo. Flies were an issue at the campground, but seemed to be an issue throughout the Bighorns. Mosquitoes weren’t too bad and the vault toilets were well maintained. They sell firewood for $6 a bundle, cheaper than in town. About a 15 minute drive to the cloud peak wilderness trail, about a 5 minute drive to the Tie Hack reservoir. Great location, road traffic can be a little loud at times but for the most part nice.
