Would highly recommend this site for group camping, more spacious than anticipated.

Clearwater Campground is highly recommended for group camping due to its spaciousness and proximity to the river. While there are no water facilities on-site, clean vault toilets are available, and water can be accessed nearby. However, some areas may experience flooding, and the campground lacks tree cover, with limited availability of firewood and host presence.

Nice group campground. No water at campground, but available down the road and Elks Fork and Wapiti campgrounds. Vault toilet was very clean.

Nice site next to the river. This campground has very little tree cover. The host was never on site in the two days I was there, and the nearest firewood was a 20 mi drive.

Campsite was flooded with an apparent stream going through the middle. 3 inches of water in the fire ring so no campfire or grille. Tent camping was out so had to sleep in the car. No availability of any other sites.
Learned that senior citizen rate was available only after discussing at the station. Not offered through recreation.gov
