The camp offers clean facilities, including spotless vault toilets, and some sites with water and electricity, enhancing the camping experience. Great place near Yellowstone NP. Would like a dump station!

Campsites well-spaced out and bear boxes easy to use. Lots of vault toilets, many of them had flies - probably because of the temperature. They were otherwise well-kept. Water pumps and dumpsters easily accessible.
On a clear night we saw the stars and comet!
Nice campsite 20 miles outside of east entrance of Yellowstone.

Beautiful area to camp out. This is a rural, quiet place that also has hookups and a place to dump trash as well as a bear locker and fire pit. We had a great time here

This place was exquisite!! A beautiful location. Clean campgrounds, toilets were fine and not smelly. The only reason I couldn't give 5 stars is the fact that there was no water. This was due to the water being turned off for testing positive for (bacteria?) issues. So we had to dry camp. Not a big deal, but we did have some neighbors who needed to borrow some water because they did not have enough. I realize this is no fault of the Rex Hale Campground itself, but it was inconvenient. But those are the chances you take when camping. Still a GORGEOUS place to stay the night! I would most definitely book to stay there again!!

A little far from the Park, but overall great experience, there's a river down by the campground that makes fishing really nice.
