We stayed here prior to our visit to Yellowstone. A wildfire took hold nearby a day or two before we arrived, but we were able to access the campground and enjoyed a beautiful afternoon hiking along the adjacent river. The grounds were clean and spaces had ample room without feeling cramped. While we appreciated the natural beauty of this area, we were also in awe of the work the fire fighters were involved in. Highly recommend this campground; it's very close to Yellowstone and provided us with the perfect spot to stop the night before we entered the park for our camping experience there.

Close to the park, but in the boonies. We had a friend working at Pahaska, so it was convenient to visit him. Quiet.

This is a nice, quiet campground, close to Yellowstone NP. We enjoyed the wildlife and the site size was generous. There is no cell coverage but that is tolerable for a few days.
