Nice campground. We had site on river. Clean bathrooms, super nice hosts. About 30 minutes from east entrance to Yellowstone.

This is a nice campground next to the Shoshone River and among some pretty Cottonwood trees with Juniper and Pine also. Only 2 negatives were the campground is a bit old by Wyoming standards as the picnic tables are in disrepair and the pull in for our space (#22) was a backwards layout for our camper door as our door faced the road not the campsite. Other than that the vault toilets were clean and paper was well stocked. There were water hydrants all over the place so you didn't have to walk far to fill a bucket. The hosts were very friendly and hardworking, much thanks for that! Overall a very nice campground.

What a nice surprise to be right along the river and have so many female bighorn sheep living so close. Nice wooded and private primitive campground. Wish there were more hookups though.

This was THE PERFECT spot to explore Yellowstone, hike from the campground, check out the river, and just relax in what I can only describe as Big Thunder Mountain from Disneyland! The rocks around the campground were an amazing back drop for our adventures! If we go back to Yellowstone we will book here again! Highly recommend booking here and if you can get by the river even better!

Yellowstone delayed re-opening campgrounds a couple of weeks which landed right in the middle of our reservation, so we had to stay elsewhere for two nights in the meantime. It was quiet and clean. There are ample water stations and a few restrooms. My only complaint is it is FAAAR from Yellowstone. We were hiking on the west side and in the center of the park, and it was easily a 2-hour drive...each way. I will be staying somewhere else next time.
