Bring your camera. Stunning fall photo ops. Unfortunately only stayed one night, but will definitely return for hiking and wildlife viewing.

Evergreens provide privacy between many of the sites. Quit area situated in a canyon. No bears seen by us in early October.

We only stayed at Wapiti for one night on our way to YNP. Not many services provided and small sites. No frills for sure

The campsite #21 was great. Liked the park so much stayed an additional 12 days first come. First serve #35. The sites were large and private.
Kudos to the campground host. The cleanest vault toilets I have ever used. Thank you Wapiti Host and rangers for a well kept campground.

  • Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
  • Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
    • Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
    • Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
    • One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
  • Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules.
