What Guests Are Saying
Stillwater Campground offers a beautiful and peaceful setting by the Bear River, with clean facilities and friendly hosts who enhance the camping experience. Campers appreciate the well-maintained sites, abundant trees for shade, and the enjoyable river activities. While some noted minor issues like nearby noise from generators and the absence of advertised potable water, overall experiences have been highly positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

Camp host was amazing! Super nice and friendly :) The restrooms were hands down one of the cleanest restrooms I’ve gone to while camping. Not one time did they smell bad. Always spiffy clean.
Great campsite location next to the river. Found a little secluded spot to fish and relax.

Most all of the campsites are or feel private! The sound of the river 24/7 is so soothing. We love to fly fish and were successful every day!!
The Camp host Kim was amazing and Blythe the DM was exceptional!
Stillwater was my favorite place on Earth this summer!

VerifiedSeptember 25, 2026 • Stayed at: A, Loop: GROUP
We used two group sites and had approximately 60 people between the two sites. The second day of our stay the facilities team closed/locked one of the two vault toilets, leaving one toilet for 60 people. When we asked the camp host, they were told it was because it was "closed for the end of the season" and that they needed to store supplies in one of the toilets. We are a group that cares a lot about the environment, and closing access to bathrooms was not only stressful for our group, but can have negative impacts on the environment if people need to take care of business in the bushes. We were offerred the vault toilets at the main campground, but due to our group being a school trip with 13 year olds, we couldn't take the 20 minute round trip to walk there or the adults needed for camp supervision away from the group. It seems inconsistent that the bathrooms were in their "end of season" but the campsite was still reservable, and not cheap at that.
