I had 2 different tent sites at this campground as I waited too long and had to work around cancellations to get the dates I wanted. One site was a bit crowded and unlevel but was workable. The 2nd site was a better site for sure. I only stayed 3 nights but access was easy and I was able to get to and from the campsite with no problems. The time I was there was peaceful and both sites were nicely shaded. Grand Tetons is so easy to get around and full of wonderful views and experiences.

Clean and ease of access to Grand Tetons made this a perfect place for a overnight stay for us. Bathrooms were clean and sites large.

The campground itself was pretty nice, and the location was awesome. We understood we were in Bear country, but a couple of the camp hosts took the enforcement of putting things in the bear box too far. We couldn’t even go to the bathroom for 5 minutes without one of them showing up at our campsite, threatening to move our belongings into the camp host area. Other than that, this campground was in a gorgeous area right near the base of the Tetons and the Snake River. Bathrooms were relatively clean (showers would have been so nice!) and the sites themselves were level and fairly private.

Great campground in excellent proximity to the rest of Grand Teton and close to Jackson. We stayed in the tent only loop and really recommend it. Loved this spot as it was close enough to the restroom but far enough away from social areas that it was quiet.
The facilities were standard NPS bathrooms and clean (though hot water would have been nice given the freezing temps we got in June). But as a trade off, the river on the way to the campground always seems to have moose nearby and we saw two calfs while on the way back to camp.

Literally the most rude staff I have ever seen. The campground is great, but far and away the most rude staff I have ever encountered at a National Park. I'd never recommend staying here to anyone just because of that.

The staff at the campground are friendly, knowledgeable, super helpful. The campsite itself was nothing to brag about. It had, no shade, but it was a last-minute reservation and that is all we could get. Love staying in the Gros Venture campground.

Check in was quick and easy. We asked about potential moose sighting locations and went to the most likely location, played a game of monopoly in the RV while we waited and sure enough, a moose appeared about half an hour later!
