We tried to cancel because we had an emergency, but no one was ever at the host area. Also when we went to the site It was running over with weeds like it wasn't even tended to. Alot nicer the year before.

Pros: Extremely convenient to the interstate. Many sites have excellent privacy. Cons: Highway noise is inevitable at such close range to interstate. Can be a bit dusty.

The campsite is unbelievably beautiful, but we could not stay and drove down the mountain to a Walmart parking lot. We were car camping and needed to cook outside, but there were literal clouds of mosquitos. I was surprised, but maybe the nearby fire was pushing them into this space? I'll need to do some reading to see when is a better time to avoid the bugs.

Gorgeous spot, on a corner so somewhat exposed to the road so not a ton of privacy.

Clean facilities, neighboring campers were all quiet and respectful, camp host was friendly and able to answer questions. Our kids (from 0 - 7) had a great time playing around the camp site. Not a lot of shade at site 10.

The camp host Lessli was excellent she was friendly and took her job seriously. However, our 1st spot #10 was on a slant which try as we could we could we not park level. So we paid for and moved to #11. I would recommend you level some of your spots.

Loved the sites we booked but the mosquitoes were horrible in late June.

Spot #8 is not good for a trailer. There is plenty of room to back in but your trailer door opens into the trees and does not open toward your campfire and table. Luckily we were able to move to a FF spot. I tried to contact recreation.gov since there is no camp host, and with a 90 minute wait time requested call back. After 2 hours I called again with 19 minute wait time, so i waited. After 30 min I gave up and just paid for the new spot. So yes I paid for 2 spots. Not happy. And this trip someones cows got out and were all over the campground, all weekend. Waking up to cows and pattys next to my trailer. We enjoy this campground with the trails right next to it, and close to Laramie if needed. We have cell service. And although close to highway, you dont hear it. We will be back, not at #8.
