The spaces are tight (quite a few RV spots don’t allow for awnings to be extended) and you are close with your neighbors. The accommodations were well enough for camping and the area is, of course, beautiful! You couldn’t ask for a more central location to explore the parks. The staff was also extremely helpful and kind. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go back.

Great experience at the campground. The staff was friendly and helpful. The sites were great. Facilities were very good. There was a restaurant, store, and gas station right within walking distance.

The amenities are terrific, hot showers, flush toilets, laundry and even restaurants, very convenient. And very close to Yellowstone.
The campsites are too close to each other, not much privacy. The road is gravel, too much dust when vehicles pass by.

Headwaters Campground, along with the entire Grand Teton National Park, was fabulous. We have camped at several National Park campgrounds, and National Forest campgrounds. All of them have been amazing but Grand Teton National Park is now our favorite National Park. Things to do: Drive to Jackson Lake, Jenny Lake, the Signal Mountain Summit, the Laurance S Rockefeller Preserve, book a float trip on the Snake River at the Lake Jackson Lodge and have a meal on the outside deck at the Jackson Lake Lodge.

Had some issues with booking a site with software. But check in Lady from Mississippi fixed it for us. She is excellent. Made our short stay possible can’t sing her praises enough.

We had site 528. It was dusty because of cars driving by regularly. Also the sewer hookups are about a foot tall, which makes for awkward dump, even with the hose supports. Otherwise location is great and staff was friendly.

Picked up a rodent that bothered us for a few nights and maneuvered around a few mud holes at the site. The sewer drain is uphill from the rv so made it very difficult to drain. It’s too far away from all the good hikes and would stay much closer to the Grand Tetons. It took about 35 minutes to get to a trailhead that was worth hiking. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to anyone wanting to stay near the park.
