This is a great campground. Great bathroom and shower facilities. Plenty of hot water. There is even a dishwashing station with a sink and hot water. Really pretty setting in the trees. If you explore any of the JDR Parkway Wilderness Area (the wilderness between GTNP snd YNP) you will have it to yourself. It is gorgeous and wild.
The non electric cabin was great for five people. The bunks fit two comfortably and it was convenient to rent a cot for our fifth person. A sheet to cover the bunks was nice. You’ll definitely need some sort of light. The provided lantern was pretty dim. We cooked all our own food. The people using the dining facilities seemed to have waits of 45 minutes every evening.

Cabin was great! Make sure to bring blankets and a pillow for the beds and maybe a headlamp for late night bathroom trips

This is nice campground but a bit further north in GTNP so you add 30 minutes to anything you do in GTNP for travel. This also makes it less competitive to get a site. It is quieter and much less busy than Colter Bay RV Park. The restaurant at the visitor center is excellent with a better menu than the ever-present hamburgers other places have. We do most of our meals on the road or at the RV but decided splurge on our last night in the park and were very pleased we did. It fills quickly and the wait can be long so go early if you can.

The campground hosts were very nice. The bathhouses were clean. A lot of rain had occurred in the area, so the campsites were wet and muddy. A fresh layer of gravel or even better, concrete pads, would greatly improve the campsites.
