Great campground in the lake. Site 11 has views but was the weather was cloudy and rainy so could not see the mountains. Great coffee shop in the restaurant building that does not show up on Google! Timbers has real espresso machine and selection of flavored coffee and tea and hot chocolate. Also pastries. Breakfast at the restaurant with a view.

Signal Mountain Campground is a wonderful base camp for the Grand Tetons. Centrally located and nice privacy foliage.
Would have loved more amphitheater presentations and showers included.
The beach access to Jackson Lake is the BIG selling point.
Our campsite has a private foot path down to the water — what?! That’s amazing. Especially when alllll the Teton tourist stops are swarming with people and it’s hard to even snag a parking spot, it’s fantastic to be able to end each evening with our Tommy Bahama chairs watching the sunset just steps from our campsite.
We are campsite #43.
Note: the site would be easier to park a large trailer if you enter the one way backwards. You can see the trees across from the site are heavily banged up from lots of previous “incidents” as while the site is large enough… the trees and roadway to back in a trailer are narrow! Be cautious and best to just go in backwards. Otherwise, an excellent site (maybe lacking some privacy, as the fire pit for the neighbor site is very close). But overall would definitely book the site again just for the water access with excellent Tetons view.

Loved this campground. Did not stay anywhere else in the park so hard to compare, but it was beautiful. There was a generator free loop as well as a couple with electric hookups and generator ability. Each site had its own beatbox and was in good distance to the rest rooms. Some of the sites are a short walk from the lake which provides a beautiful view. There was ample space in our site and many others looked good too! Busy area but was still quiet and comfortable. The showers and laundromat were a huge plus as well as the gas stations hours were great(you could buy firewood, ice, and food there!$

Spent two nights in Grand Tetons. Campground was clean. Saw lots of wild life including Bear and Elk. Check in to the site was next to non existent compared to other national parks we have stayed in. Sites were pretty close to each other, didn't use the showers but they looked ok, $5 for 12 minutes. The laundry room wasn't great, around $5 as well. Restaurant by the lodge looked good but didn't end up eating there, general store had wood and ice and some basic food items. It was super quiet at night. Views of the lake from the boat launch were great in the evening. Bathrooms were cleaned three times a day, no paper towel or hand dryers, water was only cold. Very laid back vibe. Good if you are looking for a chill place to hike.
