What Guests Are Saying
Signal Mountain Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained setting right next to Jackson Lake, with clean facilities, running water, and a variety of amenities, including boat rentals and dining options. Campers appreciate the wildlife, privacy of sites, and great views, although some sites have limited lake visibility and issues with electrical service. While the campground is popular and can be pricey, many visitors express a desire to return due to the serene atmosphere and access to nature.

First off, the best thing about this campground is proximity to Jackson Lake, which is beautiful, warm, and swimmable, with a (rocky) beach that can sustain a whole day of fun. If you’re camping with a crew of people who like swimming, this is an amazing campground. The site itself is also wonderful, with a tent pad that accommodated our 10x10’ tent. Very close to the bathroom and water, but not problematically close. This is a great site at a great campground!

We enjoyed staying at Signal Mountain Campground. Nice location along the lake and easy access to other parts of the park. Only downside was the cost of the showers.

I was very frustrated to finally lean that when I clicked on a Site that was reserved for handicapped, every other Site indicated it was a handicap site. They were NOT handicap sites. I later learned that I had to "refresh" the page every time I would try another Site. Next time I will just take the handicapped site as others would simply do.

Beautiful, quiet and well maintained campground. I was surprised to see so much wildlife in the campground! Didn't even have to leave the site to see all the animals. Woke up to Elk walking down the road, foxes, deer and fawns prancing through my site. Campsite felt secluded enough.

It was a great campground. We loved the Lake Solitude hike, although it was a bit longer. I would highly recommend the campground and the National Park.
