Great views. Site was relatively level. No issue with the 30 amp service. Would reserve this site again.

The campground is very expensive so it is unbelievable that you have to pay for shower time on top of the high campground fee. And the showers were anything but clean. The campsite itself was nice.

The park is spectacular. The campground...isn't. It's been ridden hard and put away wet. I am really not criticizing the NPS or its staff; they don't have sufficient budget or staff, particularly now. But the issues I note are not new: There is the memory of asphalt to park on, but it's crumbled and very uneven. Not that that's the biggest problem with parking - my site was on a steep slope and absolutely no effort had ever been made to level it, so that was a real challenge. Many sites looked very unlevel. The sites are overused and close together, so some of them have essentially no foliage, screening, or privacy of any kind. It's hard to get to the old bathrooms because you have to walk through other peoples' sites or walk a bit of a way to the entrance path, none of which is very obvious. My site did have a picnic table and a bear box, but the 2 were pushed together because of limited space in the site (making the seating inaccessible), and you couldn't actually use the table because the slope was so severe across the site. The tent pad was a little more level, but was actually the lowest point on the site, and it was clear water had pooled there. Overall, this campground was disappointing in nearly every regard, and I won't be in any hurry to ever stay here again. The only plus is that it's in a fantastic national park, with beautiful exhibits and natural beauty. But do yourself a favor and stay at a nearby national forest campground and drive into the park to visit it. If you really want to stay in the park, try Gros Ventre, which has some of the same issues but many better sites.

Nice campground with good facilities. We were there in early June and the mosquitoes were bad.

Would've rated higher but they leave all the very bright annoying bathroom lights-inside and out-on all night and they light up the whole campground. Almost all other campgrounds now have motion detecting lights inside, with a minimum number of outside lights that stay on.

The only downside to the campground is the mosquitos - come prepared for that. The hike to the Huckleberry Hotsprings is beautiful. We cycled out Grassy Lake road (which was still closed for the season) to Beulah Reservoir- beautiful ride.
