Great clean campground with showers ($6 for 7 mins) and laundromat ($3 for washer, $1 for 20 mins dryer). Beautiful lake views.

Despite the warnings, site 69 had enough space to pitch our tent. It was conveniently located near the trails to the lake and boat ramp, as well as the restrooms. Staff made check in a breeze and provided a solid review of tips for camping in bear country. Bathrooms were clean. Most importantly, the site is located in a loop where generators are prohibited which made for a nice and quiet night under a starry sky. Because the site is located on a slope, only one other tent site was visible. Since our neighbor left early, it was like having the forest to ourselves along with a herd of bugleing elk.

We had a fabulous time at this campground. Emily the ranger was very welcoming and friendly and we loved the electricity sites for our small casita trailer. Private and beautiful.

Liked that there were showers available for use.
Our walk up tent site was private and during the night we heard Elk calling a couple of times.
