This campground really sucks. The sites are really close together and you're in a dense canopy of trees. Colter Bay is way better.

The campsites were shady and the location amazing. I was amazed to be so close to the lake and there weren’t mosquitoes!!

Beautiful setting on Jackson Lake. Campsite can be small and challenging to park and level even a small camping trailer. Older campground with unmanaged trail system to bathrooms. Bear box at each site. Campground showers are individual rooms - clean but a bit spendy at $6 for 7 minutes. Convenient access to GTNP points of interest and hiking trails. We’d stay here again.

Site 16 was a great walk-in, tent site. However, if you are expecting an easy walk down to Jackson Lake it's more difficult than it appears from the map.
